In the first part one we covered Jobs loss of wealth, family and ending up with painful boils from head to toe and a wife just telling him to curse God and die.
Yet . . . In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
What you need to firmly grasp is Jobs faith, because what happen to him is going to happen to you, and no matter what your feelings and thoughts may be concerning me or what I just shared with you, God knows, and nothing can change reality and truth. The question you need to be asking yourself is this;
Can I handle what comes as Job did? Can I handle being thrown in the lion’s den as Daniel did? Can I deal with being bound and put into a fiery furnace for my death as Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego were?
You must answer these questions because once you’re surrounded with the horrors and gruesome deaths everywhere it will be too late.
In society and the world today, the more one has, and the better ones lifestyle, the harder it is going to be for them within the great tribulation. God is so kind that He even details the change from a woman of much to a woman with nothing. So if you have much, are beautiful, and think highly of yourself . . . may God have mercy because what shall become of you.
Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton ayes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts.
In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, the chains and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
The rings and the nose jewels,
The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods and the vails.
And it shall come to pass, that instead of a sweet smell there shall be a stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and a burning instead of beauty.
Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. And her gates shall lament and morn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. Isaiah 3:15-26
Isaiah 3 (Amplified Bible)
16Moreover, the Lord said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and with undisciplined (flirtatious and alluring) eyes, tripping along with mincing and affected gait, and making a tinkling noise with [the anklets on] their feet,
17Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the heads of the daughters of Zion [making them bald], and the Lord will cause them to be [taken as captives and to suffer the indignity of being] stripped naked.
18In that day the Lord will take away the finery of their tinkling anklets, the caps of network, the crescent head ornaments,
19The pendants, the bracelets or chains, and the spangled face veils and scarfs,
20The headbands, the short ankle chains [attached from one foot to the other to insure a measured gait], the sashes, the perfume boxes, the amulets or charms [suspended from the ears or neck],
21The signet rings and nose rings,
22The festal robes, the cloaks, the stoles and shawls, and the handbags,
23The hand mirrors, the fine linen [undergarments], the turbans, and the [whole body-enveloping] veils.
24And it shall come to pass that instead of the sweet odor of spices there shall be the stench of rottenness; and instead of a girdle, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; and searing [of captives by the scorching heat] instead of beauty.
25Your men shall fall by the sword, and your mighty men in battle.
26And [Jerusalem's] gates shall lament and mourn [as those who wail for the dead]; and she, being ruined and desolate, shall sit upon the ground.
Just how strong is your faith? Do you say Lord, Lord, and do not the things that He says?
Read Psalms 91 and decide now by your actions that God is watching if you want to be under His wings, or on the outside.
