I am Jewish and I do believe in my god. I do not believe that I need to accept Jesus in order to be saved. I do however, respect you and your beliefs and I just ask for you to please accept mine as well.

Caxie, I respect all people. We all have a place in this world or God would not have put us here. I still have to differ with you when you replied that nothing would happen to the Jew if they did not accept Jesus. The only way to the Father (God) is through Jesus (the son of God). We all, regardless of our religion must be born again. What I am saying is all in the Word of God.
Mommasgirl, I would have to disagree with you. If you respected all people, then you would respect what they choose to believe in as well. I don't need to accept Jesus to go to heaven. I just need to be a good person who does good things in life. You chose to believe that you need Jesus in order to get to heaven and I respect that. It doesn't make me thing anything specific about you. I just don't understand how not respecting others and their beliefs helps you to get to heaven. In my opinion, it takes away from your goodness.
Caxie, it is not disrespect on my part, it is the Word of God. To deny the word of God is your choice, the aftermath may surprise you. If we do not have to accept Jesus and be born again then why did the scriptures tell us that? Most importantly, why did Jesus have to die on the cross? I am choosing not to continue this discussion with you. You are completely narrowminded and I feel like you will never be able to open yourself up to understand and respect others who do not believe as you do. My time, energy and beliefs are better suited elsewhere.
Caxie, In my previous post I have told you I do respect all people. If you feel that you don't need Jesus, you are not alone in your beliefs. However, I do believe I need Him...all the time, every hour. Apparently you are trying to cause me grief because I do believe in Him since you claim I am disrespectful. It is not disrespect that I believe in Jesus, it is simply showing Him I love Him and am willing to follow His teachings. I can never repay Him for what He did for me when He died on the cross. Yedda is a place to visit where there are many different opinions. That is something we, who visit here have to understand that not all agrees with us because we are Christian or Jew. You have got it very wrong. I do not find your belief in Jesus disrespectful. I respect how you choose to believe. What I find disrespectful is you saying that if I and the rest of my Jewish people do not chose to accept Jesus, 'the aftermath may surprise you.' Basically saying that we are not going to go to a very nice afterlife. Believe what you want to and what will make you feel good and happy, but don't go around preaching to those who don't believe in the same as you do. Just respect their choice to believe something else and go on with your merry little life.
Caxie, Because the computer has no emotions it is difficult to express our feelings without seeming cold or indifferent, my intent is certainly not to harm your spirit. However, the scriptures tells me as a Christian That repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name(Jesus) among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:47 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. Regardless Jew or Gentile, we are still sinners and can only attain our heavenly home through acceptance of our Savior Jesus Christ. Caxie, Jesus is real. He died for you just as He died for me. I am not trying to push my faith on you, I just wanted you to know what the Holy Bible says. I love everyone regardless of their belief.
