Are relationships suppose to fade?

I have been dating this guy for almost a year and a half. He is the first guy I had a relationship with, he was my first everything. At first, things were SO amazing. He did so much for me, he made me feel special,he said sweet things to me...I was the happiest girl in the world!!!!! He still does things for me and takes me out and all. But he doesnt really buy me things at random times(not that matters anyway), and he doesnt really do the sweet things so much anymore either..Are relationships suppose to fade? I mean I love him to death, but I kind of miss the way our relationship use to be at first. I dont know what I am suppose to expect because like I said he's the first guy Ive ever been with. A few people have said that a relationship wont stay the same way forever...But are they right?

Surrender.  Surrender.  But don't give yourself away . . . .

   ~ Cheap Trick ~

Most relationships do fade, but you can try to perk it back up! Do something special for him, or tell him that you miss all those little things.  Our lives can get very hectic, and unfortunately, the people we love can get lost in all the hubbub.  The more effort you put into the relationship, the more he will as well.  Relationships are work, pure and simple, so you have to keep on striving for the best that you two can be.

I've been with my guy for almost 3 years. My relationship was the same way in the beginning! Yes.. relationships fade.. but love shouldn't. There are ways to fix the rut!

1. Tell him how you feel! Sit down and tell him what you think and feel about the things are... get down to the bottom of it!!!

2. Spice up your sex life!!! Use toys! Watch porn! www.redtube.com

3. Cook for him! (It worked for me)
