I am looking for some great unique places to hold a wedding. Any ideas?
I think it would be great marrying your loved one on a sailing cruise, although it can be very expensive for you and your guest. But only imagine how romantic and special it could be.

Outside weddings are always beautiful. If you have a nice park, beach or garden near you, you can have the ceremony in one spot and have the reception set up steps away under tents with lots of twinkling white christmas lights and lots of candles. Or if there is a club or small concert venue that you and your fiance enjoy going to sometimes they can be
inexpensive to rent out if they dont have anything else
going on that particular evening.
One last idea is having a destination wedding.
If you want to keep it small.
Figure out where you want to go on your honeymoon and
find out if they offer anything for destination weddings.
In St. Thomas for example, the Wyndam Sugar Bay Resort has beautiful places all around the hotel where you can get married and they have a
planner there to take care of almost everything. And you would be surprised how many people might wanna go for the weekend to get their own vacation and then the two of you have the rest of the time for your honeymoon. By the way St Thomas is beautiful and if you ever go make sure to get ALL INCLUSIVE!
I always wanted to have a barn wedding? I know that sounds strange but I always had this vision of a beautifuly kept old barn, regular white lights hung for decor, white table clothes with tiny galvanized buckets full of flowers and favors. A band and plenty of BBQ'd food, with friends family and loved ones on hand to celebrate. Mind you this is all done elegant and tasteful with lots of candles, white table clothes and flowers.
Usually you can do a search online of unique wedding venues in your state for ideas. You might also look at museums/aquariams/zoos/historic places. Sometimes they are less expensive and you can build a theme around them.
