    I don't think you should see him again.  You said you broke up because of his insecurity.  Has he changed?  or he's still the same, a very insecure man.

  Don't waste your time on this man, move on and find someone else.

First off, take it from an older guy; NEVER worry about 'what your friends will think'....ever!!..no matter what you do, someone will criticize you for it, so do what you feel is right...Braid his hair for him....he meant something to you at one time, and doing someone a favor is never wrong...if something else happens, you deal with it if/when it does!!! Good luck....and think for yourself; don't worry about what others think....you are not responsible for what others think!!!

Believe me when I tell you that once you get there he'll want more than a hair braid! Sure he misses you, but maybe you deserve better?

I don’t know about this past weekend but if you have broke up with him and you want to break all ties, you should stop seeing him period.  It depends on you and the type of relationship you are hoping for.  There are certain rules you have to follow if you want to break off the relationship. First you should cut off all communication: that means don't talk to him; delete/erase phone numbers, e-mail addresses, IM addresses, etc.  Get rid of any gifts, notes, letters, etc. that are sentimental to you. Give them away to whomever, but do not keep them.  Hang out with friends. This will keep you from that urge to contact him.  Do not try and be friends with him until you can get over him. Once you are over him, then you can think about being friends with him. If you are not over him and you continue with contacting him, you will not be able to get over him especially when he starts to date someone new.

If he hasn't changed, it is what it is to braid his hair, most men are selfish and call when it's convenient. Have him pay a hair stylist. While you move on. Stay away or you will make it easy for him to manipulate you into keeping you around out of convenience. Good luck
