How do you know if a guy is just after friendship ...

how do you know if a guy is just after friendship or wants a relationship as boyfriend/girlfriend? i am asking people around the age of early to late 20's..

Life is too serious not to have a sense of humor.

Change your screen name. Ignorance and stupidity are quite different.

Most guys in this age bracket are thinking with their little heads, and not the one on their shoulders. There are many answers here that have been addressed to this question.

If you want answers from people that are under  30 years of age, then ignore what I have written. I have become old. While not wonderful, it is better than the alternative.

   hehe.. i'll change my name.. it was one of my days when i had no idea what to use.. i'll check the other answers from the other questions here then.. but then.. yeah.. i guess(i know!!)most guys think with the 'little head'.. it's just a matter of 'reading or hearing' the actual answer to your own actual question..

   the reason why i am asking i am clueless.. not to mention never was in a relationship.. i am not getting desparate but i am getting at the stage where i wonder and i am almost fulfilled career-wise.. thank you :)

i always try to help those who need good adviceSmile

get a good career first then get a relationship or friendship with a guy that is interested in the things you like and dont like...

thank you.. it's that i already have a career.. i guess i just want to move up another level.. but i agree... get a career first before any intimate relationships.. :)

  one thing i have learned about guys.. is that you should not just let the 'feeling' that he likes you is enough.. i guess at some point he has to tell you straight out what he wants.. or what he would like if it is more than friendship or more than friendship.. jumping to conclusions is not good(us women are VERY good at that!!).. no matter how sweet and caring the guy is.. because they can like you but not like you enough to committ.. soooo.. unless he says he likes you or something like ' i want to take it to the next level ' then.. that is that..

  some women or girls make the first move.. i don't suggest it.. but that is my opinion.. but a guy who is after a serious relationship or is clear to 'try' a real relationship and not just a fling will give his intentions in a clear way.. or at least he will try to if he is really really really shy.. :) hope this helps.. :)
