If you are talking about a family relation the answer is of course yes. I have a friend who's living in his parent's apartment and he pays rent. If you are talking about simply having some sort of relationship again I would say the answer is yes and sometimes it can even be helpful. A good relationship with your landlord can really help to solve problems when they occur.

  Of course yes, as long as the tenant pays and follow the rules of the apartment or condo complex.
