You need to decide if you are the kind of person who wants her man to be close for companionship. If he drives trucks, he'd be gone quite a bit. Is this the kind of life you want to have? If your answer is no, then you need to find a man who does not drive trucks and is gone frequently due to his job. Not unless you can convince him to work locally, he is not the right man for you.
If you love him very much and can overlook this reality of him gone quite frequently, then you need to accept that that will be your way of life with him.
