Talk to your physician about it.  He is the most qualified to answer any ?(s) you may have regarding the diabetes as every individual is different.  You may not need to worry.  Then again, depending on your #'s, he may want to put you on insulin briefly until after your procedure.   It does depend a lot on the type of cleansing agent used.  Some may contain chemicals that would raise your glucose levels. No food would cause your levels to drop.

True true.  Citrinel.

All you said was exactly right.

Where i went they call me the 2 days  before to make sure i understood my instructions they had sent me prior paper and to go over my medication again of what not to take and what to take.  They called me the day after also.   To see how i was doing.         ( THE DOCTOR AND WHERE YOU ARE GOING, ) KNOW YOUR CHART ( FILE ) ABOUT YOU AND MEDICATIONS.    I went to out patient place that deals only       in what you are having done    and they are pretty accurate on on the spot.  Its comfy to have yourself in good hands.  I have had it done 3 times for medical reason's.

Good luck

God bless
