Use my reg. printer for Food Color Printer

Food Color Printer:

I have a food color ink compatible printer. I have used it to do normal printing and want to know if I purchase the food color cartridges & the food color print head cleaner, will the printing on frosting sheets be food safe? My printer is a Canon MP610, so the food color cartridges are compatible. I just want to make sure it's edible, brcause I've already usde it with regular ink. Thank you, N.M.

I think it would not be safe - contact the printer maufacturer or cartridge manufacturer to be quite sure.
