can a red wine bottle be left in room temprature (not in the refrigirator) after it was opened? For how long?

Yes.  My friends do it all the time (I don't drink any more).  Usually the bottle stays out until it is gone, but they do re-cork a bottle on occasion and leave it out warm.  Apparently it doesn't go flat quickly, but I'm sure people with "sophisticated" palettes will disagree.

If it was re-corked, the wine should be good for two to three days.

I personaly don't drink.....However, I have a son in San Francisco....He has access to really good wines.....He always said, Red wine should always be room temperature

A wine bottle can only be left at room temp after it is opened for a period of hours before it becomes undrinkable. Red wine stores at 55 degrees optimally and so if you have an environment that promotes temps around 55 you can extend the life of an opened bottle up to 12 hours or more.
