This could be a number of things. Did you walk barefoot somewhere outside? Perhaps you stepped on something that's causing the irritation. Another possibility could be an allergic reaction to something that touched your feet. It might also be an infection of some sort.

As you see it's hard to make a diagnosis without more information. I would head over to your family doctor as soon as possible.

As Galen said, there really are a number of things it could be, including a common problem called athlete's foot. I'd suggest seeing your doctor to find out what it is. Good luck.
