How to recover iphone apps that suddenly won't run?

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else before... I just had a game on my iPhone running, I set it down and forgot about it. It ran the battery out and shut off. I hooked it to the car charger and when I turned it on it was looking for itunes, so I powered it off then back on, and everything looked normal.... until I tried to run anything.

Every app starts it's splash screen, then just quits. The only apps that run are the ones the phone first came with. I can redownload the free ones, but... How do I get back apps I paid for, and I would like to not lose my game data on Underworld. (I was one of the top 100 players, and 7th best player in my state. I REALLY don't want to start all over again...)

Anyone know a way to get my apps to run again?

Or if underworld is going to come out with an update? That might work.

samething happened to me... the phone locked up, then after reboot... only orig apps work.. when you find the answer let us all know

This is really strange, I Just installed a free app "the weather channel", it worked great and then the other apps suddenly started working...
