EXCELLENT QUESTION!!!i always recommend this book on yedda so i hate to sound like a broken record but my favorite book of all time was 'the neverending story' by michael ende.It is the best fantasy book i have ever read and a great movie as well.I think the book is better than the movie though.The first reason is that its only based on the 1/3 of the book.second of all theres so much more to the book than what the movie shows. plus they do make 2 sequals to the movie but the 2 sequals have nothing to do with the other 2/3 and im telling u rite now THEY SUCKKK!!!!I don't just recommend this book n movie 2 u but to everyone in search of a great book based movie.I am currently reading momo by the same author and so far it is very good.
