In my day job I write about Blood Pressure Treatment and treat those who suffer from blood pressure problems. Low blood pressure is a particular interest and I'm often asked about how to lower cholesterol levels. A healthy heart is becoming a huge focus for many of us nowadays. Improving your blood pressure control and thus the health of your heart and circulation system is really important. My most recent online "adventure" is to start a facility for people to ask me my opinion and to provide high quality health information by answering medical questions online.

I also have a special interest in the problem of feeling Tired All the Time and in those who suffer from chronic fatigue or lethargy. This seems to tie in also to skin care issues or skin treatment problems and suggestions. Tiredness and fatigue can lead to major problems for many individuals in modern society and the way that this can affect all areas of general health can be quite invasive in terms of daily life and coping skills.

My work with footballers and athletes leads to a focus on Painful Shoulder conditions and on the problems associated with frozen shoulder or whiplash injuryRotator cuff injury causes problems for many of my patients.

When not working I daydream about my next amazing european vacation trip  My favorite European cities include Paris and Barcelona and my next blog project will be to write about the best way to spend a night in Paris and how to find an apartment in Barcelona. I just love European travel in all its forms.

The best movie based on a book I know is the Princess Bride, and it is the only example I know of where the movie really surpasses the book.

Other than that there are a few example of good movies and good books, though usually the movie is good only if it finds its own voice. Stand by me was a great movie, Frankenstein (I like the Mel Brooks rendition, but of course it's a parody).

It's always surprising how many of the great movies came from wonderful books.

Those are some of my favorite:

Blade runner, which came from "do Androids dream of electric sheep" by
Philip K. Dick

Lord of the rings (Tolkin)

Gone with the wind (
Margaret Mitchell)

Everything is Illuminated (Jonathan Safran Foer)

Perfume (I just saw the movie last week and it's great), the book is by Patrick Suskind

The Hours (Micheal Kunningham) - the movie is ased on a book which is a tribute to another book - Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf

Lord of the flies

Damn - there are just too many!

For me it's The Uncanny of Andrew Klavan and Harry Potter of J.K. Rowlings.  The producer made a good movie out of those books.  How I wish they will make a

tv series.  I can't wait to watch those if they will create one.

Hmm...I am sure there are a lot.  The lord of the rings series, fight club, Philip k dick novels, Zodiac, The Shining....you can search for more movies and

new movie reviews at filmcrave.com.

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS

A Time to Kill was an amazing book and a very good movie as well

Intensity (the mini-series) was good too (even though I think it was made for tv on a low budget) and it stars Johnny C. McGinley (Dr.Cox from Scrubs) who is one of my favorites.

Coal Miners Daughter is based on Loretta Lynn's autobiography and it's very good.

"Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" by Stephen King transferred into a wonderful movie. "Shawshank Redemption." So did Stephen King's "The Green Mile."

"The Little Women" starring Katherine Hepburn was the best movie done from Louisa May Alcott's book.
