What ever method that you use, you are going to have to do it a couple of times to get exactly what you want. Meaning length of cooking, distance from the fire, etc.
Having told you nothing, I would recommend starting at 4 minutes per sides. A steak that is too raw is just right for eating. Ooop! Excuse me. I mean that it is like a board that is too long. The situation can be rectified.
