Truely knowing one is to become one.

Can you rank these in order of their importance and significance???

Seems like this question has others trying to put their stamp of approval on it if you take careful look around. So i'll post it again for the last time as it produces a heck of a lot of interesting, very intelligent argument/debate from respondees from every perspective. So here we go again,...

THE QUESTION;  Which ONE event/moment of the following five given, do YOU consider to be the MOST significant event/moment in US history and WHY???..  1)-The 1st US atom bomb test New Mexico;..  2)-President Kennedy's Assassination;..  3)-The 1st Moon Landing;...  4)- 9-11 Twin Tower Attack; 5)-Barak Obama elected as US President.  If you're willing to rank these (from 1 to 5) in order of their significance then even better. What dya think???

Based on how I would consider my findings and answers to some the questions people ask or wonder about history to my opinion would be the following.

1.  The 1st US testing of the attom bomb

2.  President Kenedy's assination

3.  The first man landing in the moon

4.  The attack of the twin tower

5.  President Obama's elected President

1.  When history repeats itself, there is a significant event that happends or has devisited many lives of human beings and various countries.  This then brings people to make other choices of who runs their country, and who should be the next one to over power what American's have so many years wondered who is willing to take world issues and make change.  The order of who authorized the bombing and why then tells a what is considered the dark side of human tradegy.

2.  President Kennedy was chosen to be the next US President falling right after Word War Ii.  He seemed to the most opened minded and less fearing person to face tough issues and has spoken publicly about other political leaders that he believes was a cause of this past tragic events.  I can only compare this from German war which Natzi's over took and wanted to get rid of the jewels etc.  Kenedy was the type to place a stop on war and help the American's regain their power and their freedom for change.  Those who were fighting were also tired and wanted peace to end the war.  This was the time Kenedy was elected President of the United States.  Honored and selected by announomous votes.

3.  When Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, Kenedy was the President who was in office at this time and the world has pronounced this journey in the moon like miracles and such event will never be forgotten by those who remembered the world wide broadcast of this event on television and radio.

4.  Unlike the assanination of President Kenedy, he was also very in touch with the American citizen's and has publicly made himself visible and supported all groups wether black, white, brown, red, yellow.  The man demonstrated no discrimination and believed that the world can be a better place with his dictatorship and leadership style that many found as an amazing and honest President.  Because of his character and self belief to stop and end war, he then was finding solutions to end the war for the sake of the American people and their families.  It is very saddened to the world and what happend when he was assasinated.  I was only two years old when that happended, but my parents remembered his visit to our island during that time.

5.  In every decade or term of office in each Presidential Election, the people were still somehow segregated.  Skin color was still a major social problem world wide and this is plainly seen in the military work force and for those who serve their country.  There was much more in white people that the blacks would never understand when it came to choices and who has preference over everything that  a family would consider the freedom of choice to do what he or she wanted in American Soil.  This even after Kenedy's death, continue and did wrongfully to many African American who then felt defeated.  It reminded me of the Guam and Japanese War.

6. Closure:  I think that the 9-11 attacks has a lot to deal with the prior Presidential Administration which to my opinion goes back even when Bill Clinton was in office.  There were so much scandles that had occured and lets just say even the Administration before his presidency and before that too.  The wars we fought were no longer a reason due to ownership of land but it began to take over the ownership of products and services, gas and oil, goods and services and who was to make the descision for all imports and exports of various countries regarding world trade and economic growth.  All of these factors never improved before President Obama's time.

I see this new President now handling the entire nations problems which for what other do who leave office to no longer share the burden and responsibility of this great President's new election into office.   This to me is unfair justice the President as I recall following his campaigns about change and leadership.  Let's not forget that he is also the first President that took that were once enemies to join forces which to me is the best descision man can make in this type of situation.  We know that America is not well favored in the eyes of other countries, but like he did say and I agree with him.  We are the ones who started the mess in the first place and it is up to us Americans to fix it.

We chose to live in a lavish world without realizing our consequences. It is like God has chosen to punish the American people.   We should be ashamed of what we are doing and ask for forgiveness in order for the whole world to act in the same manner as our country enemies.  Some have said other are jealous of Americans, but honestly I am not a proud one because I am a suffering one too and like every one who might just come across this message.  The people want a simple but very happy home life with their families.  Who wouldn't these days.   We are so tied up in providing services to those who are not from home we called the United States of America.  We need to take care of our people first and then care for our neighboring friends.  Just like every individual family who must take care of their own immediate family because it is they who come first.  What ever happend to the Peoples first motto?   The term of Americas First Day begins, and the daily prayer of good deeds to man kind and the family connection?   It's our fault people so until we can admit that.  I think we then can move on to make change because it's never too late for that.  Be kind to others and help them grow like the way we want our children to grow.  Time is limited and I think for some who belief, the days have already been numbered.  The swine flu attack is another universal symbol and the American people should not take that lightly.

Truely knowing one is to become one.

Seems as if many people have views about what is or isnt the most significant moments in history. Ive just picked out several more recent moments to see how people would rank them in order. Thats not to say that these examples are/were the most significant. But equally other people have there views/opinions of what is/isnt the most signiicant.
