"It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows."

A question to ponder...

If you could be anyone in the world (living of course :-)) who would you want to be and why?

Living?  How boring!

I would be me.   Simple.   I don't see any value in wishing to be anyone else while I am alive.

Historically, I would want to be Sir Francis Walsingham

Me, of course, but if I had to choose to be someone else I think I would choose to be one of my friends. He's much older than me (in his mid-60s) and he's still a child in his heart. He lived in three contitents, married for the second time, father of four and grandfather of two, worked in many different jobs, has many different hobbies, he's good in everything he does and he's one of the niceset and most interesting people I've ever met. I try to learn from him as much as I can.

Interesting question. I'll have to think about it. Without thinking about it, I know it would be interesting to be a man.

Humm... all in all it would be me. I don't want to change with anybody...

But... If I would have to do so ;-)... my choice would be Sir Karl Raimund Popper! Great philosopher, mathematician and physicist!

Myself, Because I see great potential in my future. And I know how to deal with any amount of pain that goes my way. But most of all is because I met this girl.  We are not dating and we may never go out, but she is my best friend. Now most people might look at her and say that she is nice looking in an unconventional sort of way, but after I got to know her I got to see how beautiful she was. Nothing I have ever seen, or imagined, was never even close to her beauty. And If I was any other person I may never have met her.  Plus I love my mom and I would not trade her for anything in the world :)

I guess I'd also want to be myself, I mean honestly who else can be as good as me? hahah lol just kidding XD

But I'd suppose well, I don't know, I'd have too many choices to go through lol, I'd still probably try to pick some sort of book character, yeah that'd be awesome lol, or wouldn't it be interesting to pick that one person (well obviously there is more than one) but just one of those people who seem to be having a tough time with their life and are hated for what seems to be no reason at all and maybe you yourself have even judged them? Maybe just to be them to really see what it's like and to of course learn from it, that'd be a great thing, for humanity well for those who are willing enough to try that is.

That and I'd probably pick a whole bunch of TV show characters....oh yeah... hahaha *daydreams* lol =) Laughing
