Flies as annoying as they are, are a necessary component in the eco system.
They deposit larve and their larve (maggots) eat dead and decaying tissue. We need them to clean up the environment and keep diseases at bay.

They are instrumental in preventing the male from peeing in his pants. There are many times in my life that I have thanked GOD for inventing these to replace buttons which were, by the way, invented by Satan.
