What kind of puppy should I buy if I want a loyal dog that likes to lick?

What kind of puppy should I buy if I want a loyal dog that likes to lick?

I love affectionate dogs and I am in the market for a new puppy.  Any suggestions? Any one have puppy pictures they could share?

labs are the most affectionate dog that i can think of, but golden retrievers are lovable too. prices can get high on lab and retriever pure-breds, but mutts can give the same (or even more) amount of love. i have a black lab mutt, who can be excitable, but always has a lick ready! best of luck for your new puppy!

English Springer Spaniels! They are a medium sized dog that are very lovey. They love to cuddle and kiss. They are perfect for small children and protective. They are smart and very easily trained. I have one and he is the best dog that I have ever had.

Why is licking so important to you?   And you are asking for pictures of this?     If you are a pervert; stick to activities with your own species, PLEASE!  And I mean humans who are consulting adults, not children.  Sorry, that portion of your question  seemed quite odd to me.

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and answer your question.

Toy breeds are the most affectionate and tend to be obnoxious about licking faces.    Strange, most people find that to be an undesirable attribute.  I love dogs but know what they lick most is their hindquarters.

If you go to a shelter, you can find an adult dog, already trained and you will see their characteristics. I belong to many groups who advocate for all kinds of animals, mostly dogs.  There are Humane Shelters in most areas.  That is a good options because they will work with you to find the right companion and you can interact with your prospective dog and get an idea of their personality.

As for loyal, any dog will be a loyal friend if you bond with them, love them and take good care of them.  Thus canines are considered a man's best friend.
