No pumpkins on vines, just flowers.

My pumpkins are not getting fruit, only flowers.  Do I need to do something like fertilize or something else?

Thank you,

Frank

frank....try this....buy a good sized, fine camel hair brush, at your local artist's store.  big  enough to collect the pollen from the male flowers and transfer pollinate  to the female flowers.  male/female flowers???  a library book on pollination/stamen/etc will enlighten you. or just collect the yellowish powderish pollen from the flowers and deposit it into the others.  obviously you will have to repeat the process as new flowers emerge.  HAPPY HARVESTING.....you have replaced the honey bee.
