"Subjectivity is Truth." (Soren Kierkegaard)

A:

There are a number of on-line places where you can get on-line counseling. None of them is free. There is still a lot of concern and argument about on-line counseling among mental health professionals. It comes down to how good can such counseling be if the therapist cannot be face to face with the client, and vice versa? Then the quesgtion, "But is it necessary to be face to face?"

What is available can be had for from about $50 per session to $150 per session. (50 minutes). This winds up being about a dollar an hour to three dollars an hour...which is the cost for personal psychotherapy in most places in the USA.

To do some exploring on your own, yet in a semi-guided way, go to my web site http://www.lifecourseinstitute.com and click on "LEAP" where you will find ten basic LifeCourse Patterns defined and summarized. Use them as a way to organize your own thinking. (Make sure you have logts of paper to make notes...)  --  Dr. Bob, Adlerian Psychologist
