psychoanalysis in fiction
I am looking for books or short stories which use psychoanalysis as an environment in the story
Have you ever read any Jonathan Kellerman books or Keith Ablow? Jonathan Kellerman's main character is a retired child psychologist who is often called upon by the police dept. to assist in murder cases. His best friend is a gay police detective who is often involved in solving the cases. The victims are sometimes ex clients of the psychologist and case histories, treatment, etc. are often summarized and explored. Dr. Keith Ablow whom you may be familiar with for his consulting roles on recent T.V. shows has written some excellent pysch. fiction. His dramas usually involve persons in treatment also. Hope you find something out of this to read.
