For the pros, try to be "understanding" please... :-)

i feel really stupid for asking this, and i know a lot of you will either go like WTF, "is she nuts?" or "amateur"... i know i'm not supposed to post such a question online, but insults are fine by me (just in case anyone thinks they'll touch me in any way.. they wont... ), bu i gotta know.

i'm trying to learn programming and a little hacking i guess (definitely not in to crack passwords), i have all the programs i need (whisker, python) things like C and C++, everything i could find on google and some program called wireshark that has the whole package. i am doing it out of curiosity and interest (i'm majoring in psychology which doesn't help), so i would like to know if anyone can help me organize this long (not sure if all necessary) list and give me tips about what not to do.

thanks a lot.

my email is freaky_jojoz@hotmail.com please reply there.
