I found my bankruptcy attorney to be very efficient. He gave me much useful information, handled the court appearance and kept me from offering information that might have been damaging to my case. ( I tend to talk too much!) Also, he assisted in confirming my car loan so I could keep it. Afterwards, he helped me with tax issues. If you are finding that attorney costs too much, check in with several others. Mine was a high volume attourney who does NOTHING but bankruptcy, but was much less expensive than several others, yet did a great job. This was in Atlanta, GA. Good luck! Oh, I was able to finance a home about 7 years after the filing.
