What is the criteria to become a certified organic grower?
selling to restuarants and retail?
Your best bet might be to consider attending a school for organic growing such as this one. If that option does not interest you, then you should look into the CCOF, which can provide you with the guidelines of how to get organic certification. I hope this helps. Good luck!
yes thank you been to the site its a bit technical, im sure its a minimum of 3 years for the soil to become not inhibited with chemicals, pestisides, etc..there is a partial of land close to me in a suburb that is only less than a year old and says its certified organic? by ccof..now ive lived here for 5 years and walk by that land an no way could it be organic? its not even been 3 years since anyone has touched it?
