Does my problem have a name?

I can't eat some foods because they give me unbearable gas pain. Some foods seem to hurt more than others. It is like I am unable to digest them because the pain won't go away unless I throw it up. Some of these foods are, lettuce, peppers, celery, onions, broccolli, fried eggs, pears, cantolope, and any thing spicy(mexican). A freind of mine said she heard of someone else that had this problem, but didn't know what it was called. I would like to know more information about this if it is possible.      thanksSmile
