I'm American, and I'm a Born Again Christian Evangelical - we are all usually Pro-Israel and want to support the Jewish People and their retention of the Land of Israel as their own land. Right now we do not have a president that supports Israel, so Jews must appeal to our Churches which are Pro-Israel instead - that is where the strength and numbers are, as well as the money. We want to support you and are deeply embarrassed about Obama's obvious support of Islam's take-over of YOUR land. This sentiment does not mean we want to bring harm to innocent, peaceful Palistinians who also want to dwell in peace. This is not a political problem, by the way - we know that it is because of the Abrahamic history of Sarah and Hagar, Ishmael and Isaac. Hagar was ordered by G-d to "live in Abraham's tent in peace" - not war, beneath Sarah, in obedience and friendship. As the older brother to Isaac, Ishmael's descendents have a responsibility to help the descendents of Isaac - therefore the Islamic world needs to reach out and restore Isaac's descendents and help them, not bring Isaac or his descendents harm. The Arab world is very large and rich - surely they can part with the small parcel of land given to the Jews, and do it as a gift to their younger brother, whom they should love and support, not hate and dispise. It is the descendents of Hagar who are guests in 'your' tent, and not vice-versa. Further, we also have learned that the real boundaries of Israel - the land as G-d gave it to you, Israel, is much larger than what you currently call Israel. We believe Israel will eventually be fully restored to it's full land occupation as defined in the Torah. But please encourage your Prime Ministers to stop giving away your land to make peace. Any American President who suggests this must be ignored, including Obama. We Christians have been graciously adopted into your Abrahamic family, and are just glad to have such a place to call 'home' spiritually. If we don't support you, Israel, we will have no spiritual home, no religious roots at all. We want to continue to support you. As individuals, however, we are scratching our heads about how to help you - "What can "I" do?" Is there a place to send money? Is there a settlement/s that need assistance where we can send help? Please announce such ways in which we can help these settlements through organizations like John Hagee Ministrees out of San Antonio, Rabbi Yechiel Epstein's ministry to Jews and Christians, and Perry Stone Ministries out of Tenessee- many of us watch these Pro-Israel Preachers here in America in order to learn about the Jewish roots of our faith, and learn to support Israel; and that would be a good place for us to receive instructions on how to help your cause. Most of us will gladly open up the check book to send money and support of other kinds if we know where to send it. Perhaps the Settlements need to select leaders to make video Ads for American Television and Google Video, appealing to the American People as well as the world to receive financial assistance in their cause. Perhaps Churches will "adopt" Jewish Settlements and support them on an individual settlement basis. You are our family and we love you! We just want you to be, to be in your land, and to be there in peace, and fullness, including rebuilding the Jerusalem Temple and having posession of it. Shalom! Thank you, Cynthia, TX
