My suggestion is, Mikebuilder, is to examine the two administrations of GW and see what progress we made in those eight years. It was GW and friends who began to conduct, illegally I might add, spying on its own citizens by NOT using the FISA Courts. Even if the FISA Courts had denied his permission, GW and friends did it anyway. I am sure that you are more than a little aware of that fact.
It appears to me that if the little guys in this country would wake up and ask a simple question, "What have the Republicans done for me today?" They would have to admit, "Nothing much." You see, if you read the most recent newspapers that the Universal Health Coverage" has been PASSED by the House of Representatives, and that it is now headed to the Senate, I think that is marvelous. I am a strong supporter of Universal Health Coverage for ALL. If you feel differently, then so be it. How did you think that Medicare, Medicade, and Social Security was passed in both houses of congress?
To disagree with me is your right, but maybe you should consider returning your Social Security, Medicare, or Medicade back to the Government! Maybe in your world it is Socialism, or Communism, or whatever you wish to call it, but I don't think most Republicans would say to their government, "I don't need it, so I don't want it!!!!!" How many do you think would do that? Not many I would bet. Maybe you would, Mikebuilder, but that does not make you that intelligent. Michael Joel Held
