I doubt it. Jeb Bush has not publicly pushed for a possible presidential run. The possible canidates which we see as possible front runners as usually not the ones who will take the lead as the election heats up. On the democrat side we will see Kerry, Biden, and Clinton as the likely. But others which may take up a position Obama, Clark, and Rockafeller.
In the Republican camp McCain, Romney, and Guliani. Their wild cards would be Pataki, Santorum, and even Condi Rice.
At this point it is far to early to make any concrete predictions. But our position in Iraq, gas prices, and the economy will be vastly important in trying to figure out which party will have the upper hand.
One thing we do know which throughs the dynamic off is that there will be no incumbant running. V.P. Cheney has already stated that he will not run, which will leave the floor open on both sides. If this is how it plays out, this will be the first time in a generation in which this has happened.
Lastly, Hillary Clinton who has been labeled as the one to beat may suffer the fate as many other early leaders. He husband was near the bottom of the list in 92 and did a spectacular come from behind. Howard Dean was the front runner for most of the primary and was pictured as the likely nominee. But his campaign fell apart near the finish line.
I wouldn't want to say right now. No one knows, nor will we for quite some time.
