I think Obama has done pretty good for his first few months of Presidency. I hope his stimulus package works. :)

Obama is doing all that is humanly possible to repair the damage of eight Bush years.  Now, his decision to reverse the Bush position on stem cell research will let this ground breaking work go forward.  Of course, thanks to brain-dead Bush we have some catching up to do.

I'm confused as to how spending billions of dollars on a "stimulus package" which includes 2 million to ACORN is going to pull us out of a recession. Honestly I am terrified for our future as a nation. We are teetering on the edge of financial disaster and we elected someone who is obviously inexperienced to drive us over the edge. Despite how you feel about George Bush, you can't just come into office and do the exact opposite without any regard for the effects of your choices, just to say you are for change. Life is scary here in the U.S.S.A.

It's very early in his reign, oops, administration, to be asking that question. But, since you ask, I'll say that I'm not seeing any of the independent thought and strong decision-making ability that I'd hoped to see. For instance, he could have line-item-veto'ed a great many of the "pork" items in the stimulus bill, yet, he chose not to. What does this say about Obama? That he's already thinking ahead to his next election, instead of thinking about, considering, remembering, that the American taxpayer is paying for a 17 million dollar study of pig odor, thanks to the stimulus bill. That's right -- pig odor.

What has he done to really help us so far?  Nothing.  How is giving money to people that can't be trusted with it going to help?  It's not.  There is a reason that they were almost bankrupt to start with.  I believe that he is a puppet though...so it's not really his fault it's whoever is pulling the strings.  There is a reason that he can't speak without using the teleprompter...because nothing he says is his idea nor does it come from his heart.  He doesn't want to help America....he wants to destroy it.

Obama is doing a great job considering how bad Bush messed things up. Could you imagine where this country would be if we had another four years of a republican president ? Obama To The Rescue !

Obama is doing just fine and I can finally say we have somebody in the office again who can walk and chew gum at the same time. It's not about ideology, but accomplishment and effort. It's too bad that Republicans won't pitch in and help.
