Having anal intercourse is perfectly normal there are a few measures to be taken. There is the risk of infection due to the large concentration of bacteria in that particular part of the body. You should use enough lubrication to avoid injury or pain. However it is absolutely necesarry that you use a condom as it may reduce the chances of contracting sexually transmitted diseases. I think that it is not safe unless you use a condom. But i don't think it matters if you don't masterbate afterwards.
