It's not the mountain we conquer... but ourselves

If your pregnancy test is showing up negative, it means that you are most likely not pregnant, but these tests are not always accurate.  So, I would cal your gynecologist and let her/him know what's going on.  I'm sure they'll get you in asap so that they can take a look and make sure that nothing is wrong.  Good luck and don't worry.  Just take care of yourself.

I agree with hemplover. Your best bet is to contact your gynecologist. A late period could be a result of many factors. A change in diet, or exercise, or sickness can affect your mentrual cycle, as well as rapid weight gain or loss. Physical and/or emotional stress can also affect you cycle. I would not worry too much. Just go see your doctor so that you can put yourself at ease. Good luck.

By the way, taking a blood test is the most accurate and will give you a pretty definite answer to whether you're pregnant or not. If you don't get your period soon I would go see your doctor just to make sure everything is OK.
