Can you avoid strech marks in pregnancy with creams or treatments?
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why they call it the 'present.'
Creams and lotions may help to keep the skin moist and lessen the effects of stretch marks, but it really depends on the sensitivity of your skin and its own elasticity. I hear my stretch marks are as bad as my grandmother's, and I have a friend who has had 3 kids and she still wears a bikini in the summer with not a trace of a stretch mark. I do use a firming lotion which is helping me firm up the skin on my tummy a little. Best of luck to you!

Vitamin E oil is more effective for any skin blemish, including stretch marks. You can buy it at Amazon.com; and if you itemize on your taxes, it's a medical deduction. One Vit. 3 offering comes in a bottle with a roller like deoderant, which keeps it off your hands. I use it to help surgical scars heal; I put it on before bed, and wear an old t-shirt to bed (cuz the stuff does stain a little).
you may want to try Prenatal Yoga.
Being in shape not only helps you and the bady it keeps the Skin Fit - so it can go back to normal afterwards
Here is a site I found for you recommending Prenatal Yoga DVDs Everything there is carefully reviewed.
I would recommend using this product: Mustela Stretch Marks Double Action. This velvety cream smells fantastic and keeps your skin supple and moisturized.
It certainly is possible, don't get me wrong, but, it's tough. And it's not always perfect. The best way is to keep up on your diet, take prenatal vitamins, and get in the habit of being really diligent with your stretch marks prevention routine. In this, I mean vitamin e, or maybe even a stretch marks cream to help prevent them.
