Can a man have pregnancy symptoms while his ...

Can a man have pregnancy symptoms while his partner is pregnant with his baby?? Its a wierd question but i'm just curious because my husband has been sleeping alot and complaining that his stomach is upset and sometimes he has even thrown up this has been going on for almost a week and i thought he had the flu but the symptoms occur suddenly. Could he be experiencing pregnancy symptoms similar to mine which mind are not as bad as his symptoms??

Yes, men do go thru emotional  and hormonal changes during pregnancy, I also found this out whilst being pregnant myself, I know its strange but also good that they go thru this aswell to more understand women during this important time.

Yes, there is a phenomenon not unheared of where the male partner has pseudopregnancy: symptoms brought on which mimic those of the pregnant female. Its brought on by a psychological connection and sympathetic  response to the pregnant state of their mate. I would discuss this with your Dr. to obtain help with this.

Men body cannot have similar symptoms (if he is normal and if he does not have any psychological problems).Most probably he is just sick.

Yes some men do experience pregancy symptoms. Some men will even go though labor pains when the time comes. Smypathy pain.

YES!!!!!! It's somewhat like a sympathy pain but not. He is in tune with what your going through. Some men have morning sickness, sleep lots, crave food. Don't laugh at him, love him and be thankful he is in tune with you....

The same thing once happened to my hubby when I was pregnant. It's really strange and I'm not sure if it's a phenomenon linked to my pregnancies or the stress I'm causing him :D
