Meanwhile, unless her doctor has told her that she is at risk for having a miscarriage, having sex with your partner is perfectly safe. The only thing you need do is play it by ear, as some women find that their level of sexual desire may fluctuate during pregnancy (so she may or may not be in the mood).

There is no reason to worry about a miscarriage unless her doctor has advised of specific problems.  As long as she is comfortable and in good health, having sex with a pregnant partner isn't really much different.  When the fetus gets bigger, you will discover that some positions will work better than others.  You can find illustrations in books (visit your bookstore) or just talk to her and use your own imaginations.
