You cant be pregnant right after you've had sex (or the female i mean)

Woman becomes pregnant within 48 hours of the last intercourse if she was able to get pregnant.

So if you want to confirm pregnancy after sex, i suggest waiting at least 2 days before trying.

If you've had surgery to prevent children, make sure you get checked after the surgery.  Continue to use protection to prevent STDs (sexually transmitted diseases).

sex can lead to that, but there are cases of pregnancy with out sex to, if the man comes in the area of your vagina with or with out clothes you may get pregnant, chances are high. but not impossible.
