From experience only: had problems with Levrothyroxine. Problem with generic Levrothyroixine, I didn't always get the same manufacturer, each time I purchased it. If you can be absolute positive it is the same manufacturer each month you fill it, then it should be ok. But I bet it is not! Endocrinologist wrote a "letter of medical necessity" so insurance company would pay for Synthyroid. That way you are sure you are getting the same medication every month. Make sure you see a Endocrinologist if planning a pregnancy, because you are considered high risk when you have a thyroid disorder. Your thyroid has to be regulated very well or you won't get pregnant. Daughter did not get pregnant until she was 29. But she finally did and she was high risk, and her and baby had to be watched very carefully the full 9 months. If you are seeing endocrinologist, good for you. If not, do your self a favor and see one.
