prescription drugs which may cause weakness in legs and ability to walk
My 88-yr. old mother suffered 3 compressed fractures in her back, had several corrective procedures, and injections. She is unable to walk any without assistance and it seems to be getting worse. Two months ago, she had a heart attack, and congestive heart failure. She seems to be doing well with that, but the weakness in her legs is worse. We take her to the doctor very frequently, but they have no answer. I am wondering could the cause be from some of her medication. She is currently taking Lortab as needed, Alendronate, Metoprolol XL, Hydroxychoroquine, Lisinopril, Plavis, Levothyroxine, Prilosec, Remeron, Clonazepam, Symbicort, and inhaler as needed. Please help. Thank you.
