The prayer against Mr. Obama

I was appaled at the prayer going around invoking God to strike down President Obama. This has always been a decent country, where your right to differ from me has been upheld since its inception. To differ is OK, to wish that I die or incite others to wish that I die or be killed because we differ is to incite violence. The GOP and its underlings have for some years now unleashed their tongues, like rabid dogs, against anyone they don't accept or like. And the people of this great nation have just sat back and listened, maybe a bit surprised and outraged that such spewing of morbid garbage is going on, but little more than that. Libel is against the law, and this kind of fanatic, ungodly smear campaign has to stop. The sort of talk we've become used to isn't even used in the worst neighborhood bars. Mr. President, Representatives and Senators - fight back ! Who agrees ? Who would like to put a muzzle on people like Rush Limbaugh, an ex-oxycontin addict finding fault with all but himself ?

The road to nowhere is paved with good intentions.

I agree with you whole heartedly, but you know how we are as the typical noisy American, more than half are empty headed followers. We use and abuse our rights, our Freedom of Speech to the point of utter decay.. People are filled with hatred and judgement for people who act just like they do, but are too blank and self-absorbed to see it. I don't mean to sound fanatical, but the truth is that demons are taking over our Nation through many people.. common every day people. And the really pathetic part is that people don't even know what's going on! They are completely powerless!

Just try to find comfort in knowing that God already knew this was going to happen and who would be involved.. right down to our next door neighbor. Don't worry too much, just keep your eyes on God. I know it's hard at times, not to get very upset by the devil's work, but the closer we get to the end the more important it is to draw closer to God!  I honestly don't see any hope for evil people. They are a dying breed.
