Be honest and be true to yourself.

The potential is good if those properties are not in so bad shape when you get them.  If so, you need to have them repaired or remodeled.  It's good if you know how to fix them yourself, you only need  to buy the materials.  After the remodel, you need to put ads in the newspaper to find a renter.  You need to check references as to the prospective payment history.  Be sure to find someone who has a stable job to rent your property.  Otherwise you'll be faced with eviction in case he does not pay you.

I hope you are in a good  desirable area.

Good luck with your venture.

You can get absolute deals on houses seized through bank foreclosures. Let me tell you about one of my most interesting deal on the property that was owned by a bank. The bank was very much motivated to sell a property that needed a lot of repairs. I found that it would only cost a few thousand dollars to do the repairs and after the repairs the property was worth $100,000. I offered the bank $30,000 for the house and I got it. These kinds of potentials are possible in   bank owned properties. Please visit:

This is one of the best businesses available where you can make reasonably high profit provided you have learned the maths of this business well. But before buying any bank repossesed property never forget to do your maths and find out the real estimate of the expenses that you need to make for the repairs if any. Also estimate the approx price at which you would be able to sell the property - this will make it a lot easier for you to set your cost price. And never feel sad if you are not able to make a good bargain as there are lot more deals to come - make failures your pillars of success and learn from every mistake and be careful the next time - this is the only way to learn to walk the ropes of this business. Wish you good luck.

A survey by the California Association of Realtors found that sales of California real estate have actually increased from the end of 2008 to the beginning of 2009. Survey respondents indicated that attractive prices and low mortgage rates were the leading factors motivating them to buy. The glut of bank-owned properties on the market has kept California’s housing inventory stocked, giving buyers many options. First-timers are leading the market spurred on by record low interest rates and the greatest affordability. Using the internet and area papers, you can soon get an idea of the market worth for different types of homes in the area. Identifying the right market & finding the best property holds the key to success. In fact there is a tool through which you can research, compare & identify best places to invest.
