Is it possible to place a lien on a property if contract was made with a tenant of the property.....or would I have to go after the tenants assets....because he is only a tenant not a n owner
You can not put a lien on a third party, that is, the owner of the actual property. You would need to restrict yourself only to the assets of the individual who is in arrears to you.
