Is there a possibility I am pregnant?

Is there a possibility I am pregnant? I skipped my period last month (I had some cramping, but no blood) I took 2 hpt's and both were negative. I went to the doctor last week, that urine test was also negative. I am currently waiting on the results of a blood test. Last week another period was due. I had some cramping again and a brown discharge when I wiped (sorry if TMI) from Thursday until this morning. Over the weekend I was incredibly tired (I slept for most of Saturday) and just felt icky. I think I'll get a phone call from my doctor today, but I just want to know if I should have any hope of being pregnant. This would be my first, and I would love it if I was. :) Also, a few months ago, I think I had what is called a hysterical pregnancy because I wanted it SO badly. My period was a week late then, but it did come. I have tried to put it out of my mind since then, and I've had no other symptoms other than being more hungry and being very tired. As I said, I think I just want to know if I have any hope!

Hi crogirl,

From the sounds of it, I would think that you are unfortunately not pregnant. For 2 hpt tests and a urine test to all come back negative, I don't think that they are wrong. However, wait to see what your doctor says, as you never know. In the case that you aren't, it sounds to me like you might have been stressing yourself a bit over trying to conceive. Stress can cause your body to react differently, which can explain your missed period, and possibly even the discharge. That being said, you still need to wait for the blood test result. I am wishing you all the luck in the world. However, if it does not work out this time, do not stress yourself out. Just take a deep breath and move forward. All the best.
