my 17 yr old daughter went toa friend house with another friend when they got there there was alcohol they decided to leave some boys would not let them then the police showed up she was not drinking and did not drink she was given a ticket minor in possession of alcohol she didn't even have a glass in her hand.

thats ridicuous if it happened, but are you positive your daughter is telling the truth? i mean no offense by this, just trying to help.

yes i am positive she is telling the truth an no ofense taken .iam not mother in denial but honestly my daughter is a good kid. and i am verylucky she does not drink or smoke or do drugs. andif she did she wouldbe honestand she would say yes mom i did drink.

Would you be willing to share with me what type of fine/punishment your daughter received?  My 17 year old daughter made the bad decision to get in a car where there was alcohol, they got pulled over. She was not drinking and was not breathalyzed.  However, received a MIP for being there.  Trying to educate myself.  Thank you.
