The way McCarthy went about his task made the objects of his wrath [the communist] look better than those who attacked them. The only thing McCarthy did was get a lot of Communist to burn their party cards and join the Democratic party. So, it is unlikely you will have a return to McCarthy’s crusade. The relics of the old American communist movement are now in charge. The, now super liberal, congress is unlikely to make war on itself. My greatest fear, that the movement has changed for the worst. It is now anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, and pro-Islam. I fear we shall lose all individual liberty before their time is done. I pray, often, that I am wrong.
