Was the stranger a stranger to you, or to both the policeman and you? If the stranger was a party to what you did or didn't do to get charges brought against you, they might be intitled to your name and address but I doubt they would be able to remember anything other than your name.If the stranger was with the policeman, he could also have been a policeman in training, or ride along.I doubt you would have any grounds to have the charges dismissed since you are not disputing that. Getting you Social Security number was a way of making sure you hadn't committed a big crime like a ax murderer.Sorry about the ticket.
