What if a police officer lets a complete stranger hear your personal info?

What if a police officer lets a complete stranger listen to your name birthday and SS # even after you ask who that person was, is it wrong? Can the charges be dropped against you?

Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do. The police officer's lack of better judgment won't get you out of whatever it is he/she was writing you up for.
