Police background check online, nationwide criminal records check How can I do a police background check online as a criminal record check?
A problem I found is that most of the background check websites have really small data bases or only cover a single state - I need to do Nationwide police background checks . Thanks.
------- ADD: Ok, after searching I used Gov police and criminal background checks I was able to perform nationwide police background checks - and my impression is that they have a reliable and up to date database. Hope that can help someone.

I was honorably discharged from the Marines and have 1A re-enlistment code (the best you can have). In my 2nd year of active duty, I tested positive for marijuana and was battalion NJPed. I wasn't court martialed. Will police background checks investigators see this information on my service record book?

Check with your local police department. I paid a couple of dollars and filled out a form. It takes a while - after 2 weeks I had a report back. So maybe call and ask your local police department. Best wishes.
There are many types of jobs that require a background check. They are simply making sure you are telling the truth about your background. If you have been convicted of stealing, they will find out and they certainly wouldn't want a casino dealer that was a thief. Don't forget about that drug test, too.
A criminal check on you it means that they want to know everything about you - any kind of a school even a university they are checking for sex offenders. They will check jobs that you have had and they will talk to those who wrote letters for you in reference to your character
