Plumeria forum's manager's and owners; et. All...

It has been brought to my attention again, that any of the plumeria forums promoting the selling and transferring of pests across the country are upon prosicution. Without mentioning any names this time, i have been contacted by the department of agriculture and the noose is being slid torward's the tightening point. Furthermore, the penelties will be stiff if the boxes are not stamped and the plants are not cuttings as opposed to rooted plants. The conversation went as follows:

Any plants being shipped must contain no dirt at all and the roots must be dipped in a special solution that is only sold to certified nursery's.

All and any plumeria transferring from california to florida and vice a versa must be handled properly.

I saw how on one forum the poster's bashed another nursery that has been in business for many years’. If you are not aware, they have more experince than most of you reading this posting!

My convictions are sincere. Anybody caught sending plumerias cross country will be prosicuted to the full extent of the law!

As a grower of plumeria and not a seller. I suggest strongly you keep this as a hobby, not to try to make it a business. Attornies bill at $275 to $400 dollars per hour. This exceeds any profit that may or may not occurr.

The penilaties without proper licensing and proper handling will result in severe legal consequences.

This is the last posting, until i am notified by the dept of who is being prosicuted and who is not. They have all the names and addresses of all the seller's and all the plumeria forum owner's and web addresses and will do searches of the ip addresses of the involved individuals. Have a great growing season and stop spreading pests across the country with little to no plumeria handling experince. Only certified nurseries are leagally able to ship and must conform to all the department of agriculture guidlines and rules. This is not a test. They are dead serious about the plumeria forums profoundly advocating the transferring the plumeria's through the mail, fed-ex and ups. The owner's and the manager's of these forum's will be held responsible.
