It was in Milano, a long time ago, and I can't remember the name of the place or the address.

I also had some pizzas I didn't like when I was in Italy. But I think it's a matter of taste, I like the thin ones, but I was too lazy to look for elsewhere when I got to a place selling thick ones...

Lou Malnati's, located in Chicago, has the best Chicago-style deep dish pizza. What makes them awesome is how they will flash freeze and overnight air you a pizza if you don't live in Chicago! The packages arrive in a cooler of dry ice and all you have to do is pop them in the oven. Delicious!

I'll vote for Sara's, a kosher restaurant in the Miami area with pizza and many other fantastic dishes.  I believe that their frozen pizza is available in kosher grocery stores in other parts of the US.

Thank you all for your ideas -- I love to travel, and am a big pizza fan.  If I'm in San Jose or Chicago, I'll have to try your suggestions.  (Or maybe I'll splurge and have a pizza shipped from Lou Malnati's.)  If I'm in Milan ... I'd imagine that every pizza is delicious!
